Obituary:
Emma DiRusso, 96, of Pleasantville, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 26, 2010. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Joseph R. DiRusso. Mother of Richard (Kathy) of Mahopac, and Dorothy Fusco (Joseph) of Pleasantville, five grandchildren, Richard, Donell, Lauren, Jenifer, and Joseph, and four great-grandchildren. Emma will be most remembered for her great Italian cooking and baking skills. She was happiest when everyone was together for dinner. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 29, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at St Patrick’s Church, Armonk, NY. Family will receive relatives and friends at Beecher Funeral Home, Pleasantville, NY, on Sunday, November 28, 2010, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Family wishes to thank the staff at My Second Home, Mt. Kisco, NY, and Hebrew Hospital Home, Valhalla, NY, for their support and care given to their mother and grandmother.
