Edson,Joann K. , of Hawthorne, NY, died Sept. 30, 2006. She was 71 years old. Joann was born on Sept. 27, 1935 in Mt. Kisco, NY to John and Vera Ryan Olson. Mrs. Edson had worked for 10 years as a bookkeeper for a condominium complex.
She is survived by her son Glenn Sloat, her daughter Debbie Sloat and her sisters Jean Jaeger and Katherine Carpenter.
Visitation will be Tues. 2-4 & 7-9pm at Beecher Funeral Home, Pleasantville. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wed. 10am at Holy Innocents Church, Pleasantville. Interment will follow at
