Andrew E. Jass, of Tarrytown, formerly of Pleasantville, died February 13, 2014. He was 87. Born in New York City the son of Andrew and Emma (Durr) Jass. Mr. Jass was a retired Science Teacher for Scarsdale Schools. He also worked as Principal of Briarcliff High School, and also taught Science in Brewster, NY.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor (Breyley) Jass, his children; Andrew P. (Lynn) Jass, Mary C. Korkes and Kenneth P. Jass. Also survived by his sister; Alice Binns and niece, Linda (Michael) Stella and 4 grandchildren.
Visiting hours Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasantville, NY where funeral services will be held Monday 11 AM. Burial following at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
