Gerard J DeRosa ,of Pleasantville NY passed away peacefully on June 4,2014.
The beloved husband of Jeanne and loving father of Daniel. Gerard was adored and truly loved by his family. He was a Safety Administrator for Con Edison. In addition to securing the safety of his work teams, Gerard was first in line to aid storm ravaged communities around the country.
He volunteered in his community coaching football,basketball,baseball and soccer. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his family and lifelong friends.
Family will receive friends on Friday 2-4&7-9 at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home Pleasantville NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM at Holy Innocents Church in Pleasantville NY. Internment following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Hawthorne NY. In lieu of flowers donations in his name to Memorial Sloan Kettering, 1275 York Avenue, NY, NY, 10065 would be appreciated.
