Condolence: I just learned about Gerry's passing. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I worked with Gerry at Con Ed for several years and always valued his friendship and dedication to keeping his fellow workers safe. He helped me more times than I can remember and I will always keep him in my prayers.

Condolence: I am deeply saddened to hear of Gerry's passing. He was my last friend at Con Ed before I retired in 2004.
We worked together both in Rye and at Van Nest Yard as both Safety Specialists and Asbestos Coordinators.
We also shared a hometown connection as Bronx, and St Raymond Alumnis.
My sympathies to the family of such a great guy.

Condolence: To the DeRosa family.,

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Gerry at Con Edison and he is one of the reasons I went into the safety business. He was passionate about safety and a great mentor when I went to the Ravenswood Power House, I must have called him 5 times a day for guidance. He was a calming factor under stressful situations. My thought and prayers are with you entire family.

Condolence: Gerry was a great guy to work alongside at Con Edison especially during our time together in Bronx-Westchester Environmental Health and Safety. Gerry firmly believed in safety and admired the people of Con Edison for the perilous work they performed everyday in a challenging environment. We also had many a good laugh at the Yankee games, Playland Family Safety Day, and rodeos. He is the reason better safety wear was brought into Con Edison making each workers lives better through his work at KEMA. He dearly loved his wife Jeanne and was so proud of his son Dan as he spoke about them often. We are all at a loss, may Gerry now hang his white safety helmet on the hook and rest in peace as your shift is ended and many lives are better for the time you gave us here on earth.

Condolence: Jeanne and Dan,
So many wonderful memories of Gerard throughout Dan's school years. He loved deeply and was so proud of Dan. He was there as coach to so many kids in Pville.
One of my fondest memories was of him taking Nicki aside when she wanted to play baseball instead of softball. Many coaches didn't want her on their team but he welcomed her. He never treated her like a girl but as a member of his team.
His legacy will live on in the kind, respectful and hard-working son he raised with Jeanne and in the many people that had the pleasure of knowing him. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.
