Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Buddy Sinnott can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: So sorry to hear Bud passed. I served with Bud in Vietnam in a small village south of Chulai. Bud was the sergeant and in charge of about 12 Marines. He was responsible for getting most of us back home alive. Bud was a Marines Marine...hard but fair. He could have been a poster boy for the Corps. It was a priviledge to have served with him. You won't be forgotten "BROTHER." He's been reassigned to guard the gates of Heaven. Rest in peace my friend. SEMPER FI!

Condolence: I just came to know Mr. Sinnott over the past year when we moved in. What a nice and remarkable man. We would always talk when he would sit outside in the sun which he loved to do and when I would be in the garden. He always said it made him smile and now every time I look down at the garden I will forever think of him. My deepest condolences to your family. He truly was a wonderful man and he will greatly be missed.

Condolence: What a wonderful man and an incredible friend to my Father and our family. Although I had only met Buddy a handful of times, I quickly became very fond of him. When my Father became ill, he was always at the hospital with the newspapers for him. On Dad's last day, Buddy stood by my Mother and I until we were able to get Dad into hospice where we would lose him the next day. He didn't stop there though; he was by our sides again for all of Dad's services and kept intouch with Mom up until two days before he left. God Bless you Buddy..... Please give my Father a hug and a kiss when you see him.

Condolence: Sharon, Lauren and families,

It is with great sadness that we learned about the passing of your dear father. Although his given name was Edmond, he was always “Buddy” or “Bud” to our family, and has been an important part of our lives since my early childhood. His life in school, our neighborhood and even Vietnam closely parallels that of my oldest brother Bill, and other young men from our community growing up in the 1960’s. Billy and Bud have been close friends for what now must be 50 years, and as a result Buddy just seemed like an extended member of the family. It was easy to see why Buddy was so special to our family, too. He was particularly thoughtful about staying in touch, especially with our parents, who were very fond of him. Bud shared in so many of our family dinners, parties and important milestones. We will miss him very much, and send our love to your and your families in this time of great loss.

With fondness,

Pat Bodnar
