Obituary for Jane F. Kelly

Jane F. Kelly, 95 of Pleasantville, N.Y.

Ms. Jane F. Kelly, of Pleasantville, passed away peacefully, at her home, on Saturday, November 29, 2014, surrounded by family members. Jane was the youngest child born to Edward J. and Helen Carr Kelly, in Mt. Kisco, N.Y. She was born on October 5, 1919 and was 95 years of age.
Ms. Kelly was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Edward J., two sisters, Kathryn E. Carle, New York and Helen L. Reulbach of New Jersey. Jane was also predeceased by her loving niece, Helen A. Kelly, with whom she lived and two nephews, Donald F. Reulbach, N.J., Walter G. Reulbach, Jr., Va., and Edward L. Clancy, grandnephew of N.J.
Ms. Kelly was an executive secretary with several New York City firms, including Montgomery Ward and Burlington Mills. She retired from Max Ascheim and Co., New York, N.Y. She was a communicant of Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Pleasantville, with a strong religious faith. Jane was also a cancer survivor of more than twenty-five years. She was an avid reader. Ms. Kelly enjoyed traveling throughout North America and Europe and trying her hand at cooking and gardening.
Ms. Kelly is survived by her niece, Mary V. Clancy, Jackson, N.J. Eleven grand nieces and nephews, 19 great grandnieces and nephews and two grand nephews, twice removed.
Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, Inc, Pleasantville, is charged with the arrangements. A visitation for friends and family is scheduled for Friday, December 5, 2014 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 6, 2014, at 10:00am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00am at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Bedford Rd., Pleasantville, NY. The interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery, Pleasantville, N.Y.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Innocents Church, 431 Bedford Road, Pleasantville, N.Y. or and cancer foundation or charity of your choice.
