Obituary for James G. Tierney, Jr.

James G. Tierney, Jr.
James G. Tierney Jr. (Jim) was born on June 8, 1946 in New Rochelle, NY to the late James and Margaret (Quigley) Tierney. He grew up in New Rochelle, NY where he attended Saint Gabriel’s Elementary School and New Rochelle High School. At New Rochelle High School, he had a love of sport and played basketball. Jim had a long career as a sales manager, first with Canada Dry and then with Manhattan Beer. His priority was and remained to the end his family. His family was the epi-center of his life. He will be remembered most for his unconditional love of his wife, children, grandchildren and siblings. Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Maryann, his children, Amy and husband Bill, Stephanie, Jaimi and husband Jack and Jimmy and wife Gina, He is also survived by his grandchildren, JR, Will, Kaitlyn and James and siblings Patricia Martin , Kevin, William and Donald and many nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his brother John. Visiting hours will be at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home on Thursday, January 15 from 4-9. The Funeral mass will be at Holy Innocence Church on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 10am. In lieu of flowers please send donations to The American Lupus Foundation
