Obituary for Italo "Eddie" Amodio
Italo “Eddie” Amodio, age 92, of Somers, NY and formerly of Hawthorne, NY passed away Saturday, January 31. He was a decorated veteran who served our country proudly during WWII and the D-Day Invasion at Normandy.
He is survived by Kitty, his loving wife of 67 years, his three children, Michael, Julia Prete and Edward, his four grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 5 at 11:00am at the Beecher Flooks Funeral Home in Pleasantville, NY. The interment will be privately held. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to: Rosary Hill Home at 600 Linda Ave. Hawthorne, NY 10532 or Hospice Care in Westchester & Putnam, 540 White Plains Rd. Suite 300, Tarrytown, NY 10591.
