Obituary for Frank D. Bastone Jr.



Frank D. Bastone, Jr. was born on February 28, 1941, in the Bronx, New York. He was the son of Frank D. Bastone, Sr. and Jean Condurso. He spent his childhood in the Bronx, and was a graduate of Fordham University and Fordham Law School. He was a well respected litigation attorney in New York for his entire career, and retired to enjoy his family, especially his six grandchildren who brought him so much joy.



In 1972 he met Loretta Rubeo. The two were married in 1973, and welcomed three children - Laurel, Michael and Frank. They raised their children in Armonk, NY, where they lived for nearly 30 years. Frank and Loretta welcomed everyone into their home, and anyone who visited was treated like family.



Frank is survived by his brother Michael, his beloved wife Loretta, his children Laurel (Pellegrini) and her husband Christopher, Michael and his wife Stacey, and Frank, as well as his niece Gina Marie, his grandchildren, Jack, Aurelia, Valena, Victoria, Daniel and Liam, and many other friends that will affectionately remember their "uncle" Frank.



The family will receive friends at the Beecher Flooks Funeral Home in Pleasantville on Thursday from 2-4 PM and 7 – 9 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. John and St. Mary 15 St. John's Place, Chappaqua. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
