Obituary for Edwin "BoB" Maurice
Maurice, Edwin Robert
Edwin (Bob) Maurice, 77 of Southeast, NY died on June 16, 2015. He was born March 28, 1938 in Mt. Vernon, NY to James and Winifred Maurice.
He was a master electrician and multi-trade contractor with his own business, Bob Maurice Contracting. He served honorably in the Navy aboard the Forrestal and Saratoga. He was a rescue helicopter air crewman and aviation structural mechanic.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Maurice; two sons, Mark and John; two daughters, Melanie and Carla; eight grandsons; one granddaughter; his sister Ellen and his brother James.
Bob enjoyed movies, model airplanes, playing cards, horses and operating his John Deere front loader. Bob was full of life, a joy to be around, always thinking of others and will truly be missed by his family and friends.
Visiting is at the Beecher Funeral Home in Pleasantville, NY, Thursday, June 18th at 5 - 9 p.m. and Funeral Service is at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hawthorne, NY, Friday, June 19th at 10 a.m. Please visit Beecher Funeral Home's website at www.BEECHERFLOOKSFH.COM.
