Enzo Felicissimo of Thornwood, NY, age 81, passed away on July 2, 2015 at Westchester Medical Center from complications of Scleroderma. Enzo was born on April 4, 1934 in Tagliacozzo, Abruzzo, Italy, and arrived in the U.S. in 1954 with his surviving brother, Dario of Yonkers, NY, and their parents, Francesco Felicissimo and Clelia Antenucci. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea with Honors. Enzo is survived by his wife of 53 years, Assunta (Susan); by son Paul of Nanuet, NY, and his wife, Lisa, and 2 children, Deanna and Mia; by daughter, Diana Bottiglieri of River Vale, NJ, and her husband, Michael, and 3 children, Michael, Julianna and Elena; and by son Mark of Apex, NC, and his wife, Diane, and 3 children, Enzo, Gianna and Lilla. Enzo was a carpenter and contributed to the building of many monuments in New York City and the surrounding area. He was a hardworking, brilliant and kind man, and a hero to us all.
Family and friends will honor Enzo’s life on Sunday, July 5, 2015,4-8PM at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home in Pleasantville, NY, Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10 AM, Holy Innocents Church, Pleasantville, NY. Entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital would be appreciated.
