Vivian Moore Farrell formerly of Thornwood passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015, from natural causes. Mrs. Farrell was born in White Plains on December 9, 1924, and grew up in the Glen Street area. She attended White Plains High School where she was an outstanding athlete and lettered in numerous sports. Before starting her family, Mrs. Farrell had a brief career at Sonotone Corporation but later went on to work at the White Plains Parking Authority. She was an avid bowler at Elmsford Lanes, winning many championships.

She is predeceased by her husband, Arthur Farrell. Mrs. Farrell is survived by her daughters, Lynn Farrell of Ossining, NY, and Vivian Farrell Templeton and her husband, James, of Southbury, CT. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Victoria Bleier and her husband, Andrew, Morgan Templeton, and Arthur Templeton.
