Sister Mary Ambrose Hauck, OP (Eileen Hauck) died on November 20, 2015 at Sacred Heart Home in Philadelphia, PA after an extended illness.

She was born April 17, 1933 in Maspeth, NY. She was the daughter of Eugene McPartland and Mary (Gill) McPartland. She is pre-deceased by her husband in May 1958 and her sister, Margy and brother Euguene.

She is survived by a sister Phyllis (McPartland) Collins, a brother Donald (Dolores) McPartland and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Sister entered the Community on October 3, 1959 and made her Profession of Vows, on September 14, 1961. Sister graduated from St. Mary’s Hospital School of Practical Nursing in Philadelphia, PA in 1970.

Sister Mary Ambrose served at all of our six Homes with the exception of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home in Atlanta. She served at Sacred Heart Home three different times during her life for a total of 32 years. She was appointed Superior of Sacred Heart Home from 1985-1991.

A wake will be held on Sunday November 22, 2015 at Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel, Rosary Hill Home from 3:30pm to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 10:30am in the Chapel of Our Lady of the Rosary at Rosary Hill Home followed by internment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
