Condolence: My Dearest Pop,

Words cannot describe how lucky I was to have you in my life, and how blessed I am to still have you in my heart and my soul! I could not have asked for a better Grand Father!! You enhanced my life in so many ways....God blessed me with you and you filled my childhood with the most amazing memories and life lessons. I admire your patience and sweetness, your strength and humor. You taught me how to dance, ride a bike and play tennis. With countless sleepovers, trips to the mall, rides in your car and all your storytelling....there was NEVER a dull moment. I was so happy to be with you! I LOVED listening to all of your childhood and war stories, even if I already heard them before. I miss hugging you so tight and telling you I love you so much! I HOPE YOU KNOW JUST HOW MUCH YOU WERE ADMIRED, LOVED AND ADORED! I hope you know you still all are and always will be!!!! You are the coolest, sweetest man with best sense of humor. A true american hero. A selfless loving man who did everything for everyone out of the love for his family. I am beyond proud to be your grand daughter, Pop. Anyone who was lucky enough to know this amazing man is truly blessed. I can't wait to hug you again Pop. I know we will be reunited one day! I LOVE YOU MORE THAN WORDS CAN SAY!! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO LEFT A LOVELY MESSAGE ABOUT MY POPPY! He would be so humbled and honored to read all these amazing comments!! POP, they are all true!! I am so honored, lucky and blessed to call you my pop.....always have been and always will be! Love you always! Love, your granddaughter Diana xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Condolence: My dearest poppy was such a huge part of my life. As a child my poppy played with us all the time. He taught me how to ride a bike and play badminton & tennis. He would tell us stories about his past experiences in WW2 and how he grew up in the Bronx when it was still a farm, and he always said he was the best at playing handball. Whenever we would sleep at his house He would make us his famous "poppys pannys" for breakfast. Everyone loved him and had fond memories of Franky Dap. He was so proud of his accomplishments in life, but talked about them in the most modest of ways. He was even more proud of his family and he made me proud to have him in my life. His life stores and his heroic qualities inspired me. As I got older his stories inspired me even more. He was one of my favorite people to go to dinner with because I loved hearing everything he had to say and just his company was a pleasure. He was the sweetest, most gentle, cool & humble man and he never got mad or upset with anyone- a quality that's rare to find in any person. I miss him so much, but I feel at peace knowing he is at peace and that I now have an angel looking over me and protecting me. It gives me comfort to know I will see him again! Till we me meet again and dance again as you loved to do- I love u my sweet poppy! Love your Bunny Amy

Condolence: Frank Dapolite was an amazing man. I am grateful to have had such an awesome grand pa. I have many pleasant childhood memories that we shared: playing tennis, going to the mall, family gatherings, playing outside, riding in the Cadillac and many others. My grand pa was a true hero with the heart of a lion not to mention a Yankee fan like myself. I am glad that he is not suffering and has found peace because he truly deserves it. I look forward to seeing you on the other side.

Condolence: I have known Frank Dapolite since the young age of nineteen. He is the father of my best friend Joni and he will certainly be missed. I admire him for his honesty, his strength, his love and loyalty to his family especially how he stayed here as long as possible for his beloved wife Mary. Frank was part of an important generation, one that created many men with true heroic qualities. With his passing, we lose a part of that greatness. Condolences to all in his family.

Condolence: Uncle Frankie will always be remembered for his kind, gentle ways. My Dad adored him and loved him dearly just as I did. I am sorry to see him leave this earth, but I know he is in heaven with all his brothers and sisters. My deepest condolences to Aunt Mary, Dee Dee, and Joni. I know he loved you all so much. Just before my Dad passed away he said to me: "It is so hard saying Good-bye" Just remember he will always be forever in your hearts and in your memories.

Love,
Maria
