Obituary for Paul G. Rooney

Paul G. Rooney 49, passed away suddenly on June 27, 2016 while on vacation with his family.
Paul was born September 10, 1966 in New Rochelle, N.Y. to Jack and Jeanne Rooney, who predeceased him. He attended Holy Family, Iona Prep and Suny Oneonta where he met the love of his life, Joanna Clark.
Paul is survived by Joanna and their 3 beautiful children Brendan, Kathleen and Liam, who will miss their father dearly.
The youngest of 9 children, Paul will be deeply missed by his siblings Suzanne Andersen, Dianne Gazzola (Jack), Stephen (Ann Marie), Carol Passmore (Jon), Sheila Featherston (John), Theresa O’Connor (Frank), Kathleen Goldring (Michael) and Christine Featherston (Peter). He also leaves behind 25 nieces and nephews.
He will be sadly missed by his in-laws Irene, Melanie and Matthew Clark, and so many great friends and relatives.
While Paul’s life was unexpectedly cut short, he has left behind so many wonderful memories that we hope will be shared by all. He had a kind heart and a laugh that will be greatly missed by all who loved him. How he enjoyed his times at Orienta and Breezy Point!
Paul as a husband and father you had no equal. You were a son to be proud of, and a brother who could be counted on to lend a helping hand complete with all the right tools. You inspired all those around you too many times to count. Paul, we will miss you and you will be in our hearts forever.
