Elena Braia (nee Morea) passed away on October 11, 2016, at the age of 48 after a valiant battle with cancer. She was a loving and devoted mother to Briana and James. She is survived by her parents, Janet and Frank Morea, her brother and sister-in-law, Christopher and Cara Morea, and her niece and nephews, Anna, Frankie, and Johnny. Elena was a dedicated teacher at Jefferson Elementary School in New Rochelle for over 20 years. Elena was loved by her many friends. Reposing, Beecher-Flooks Funeral Home, Pleasantville on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 14th at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Innocents Church in Pleasantville. Interment will be private.
