Santina Berte of Pleasantville, NY passed away at the age of 86 on Thursday October 13, 2016. Santina Berte was born to Carmela and Francesco Carnabuci on August 4, 1930 who predeceased her. Santina was also predeceased by her beloved husband John A. Berte on December 5, 2007. They were married at Holy Innocents Church on May 20, 1956. During her life she was a loving mother and house wife. She was an Executive Assistant and was active at the Board of Elections in White Plains, NY. Santina was also active in her church and her local community. She will be remembered for her love of her family and friends especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her son Frank and Catherine Berte of Cortlandt Manor, NY and her daughter MaryJoan Boos Berte and Roy Boos of Mohegan Lake, NY. Santina is also survived by her five adoring grandchildren Jessica, John George, Daniel, Taylorvictoria, and Stephanie. Santina is also survived by her two sisters Josephine Camilli and Mary Agosta and was predeceased by her brothers Frank and Peter Carnabuci.
The family will receive friends Monday 2PM-4PM and 6PM-9PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10AM at Holy Innocents R.C. Church. An interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery in Pleasantville.
