Robert G. Sommer
Robert Sommer of Pleasantville, NY Passed away at the age of 82 on Sunday, November 27, 2016. He was born to Alinda and Gerhard Sommer on August 29, 1934. Robert is survived by his wife Lois, his daughter Karen Proctor and her husband George, and their children Kevin and Kayla.
Robert worked for Westchester County for over 30 years and was a lifelong member of the Pleasantville United Methodist Church. He was very active in the American Legion, The Pleasantville Senior Center and numerous other Pleasantville community programs.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 4-8 pm at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, Pleasantville New York. A service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 10 AM at the United Methodist Church of Pleasantville, 70 Bedford Rd., Pleasantville, NY. Burial to follow at Kensico Cemetery.
