Bradamante Coletti, 86, passed away on January 21, 2017, in the Bronx, NY.
A wake will be held on Tuesday, January 24, at 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, 418 Bedford Road, Pleasantville, NY. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 25 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Innocents Church, 431 Bedford Road, Pleasantville, NY. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 West Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, NY.
Bradamante was born in San Donato, Val di Comino, Frosinone, Italia. He was a sought-after patternmaker/production manager, making many fashion designers’ sketches come to life, including Christian Dior, Tahari, Anne Klein and Nautica. He was also a costumer for the Metropolitan Opera and Broadway stage. Bradamante lived a happy life with his wife and children. He was a cherished son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Bradamante is survived by: his wife, Elisabetta (Visco) Coletti; his brother and sister-in-law, Pompeo and Gerarda Coletti; his children and their spouses, Ermanno and Barbara Coletti, Liliana and Dennis da Costa, Bruno and Marian Coletti, and Maria and Albert Corvino; his grandchildren and their spouses, Kathryn and Josh Pillinger, Kristen and Greg Fleming, Stephanie Corvino, Andrew Coletti, Anthony da Costa, Michael Coletti, Cristina Corvino and Gianni da Costa; his great grandson and namesake, Bradamante James Pillinger, and many more beloved family members.
A hard worker, smart investor, avid reader, opera buff and gardener, Bradamante was also generous and wise. He put family first and lived a full life. He would want you to do the same.
