Condolence From: Bob & Sue Comegys
Condolence: Eddie was one of the first people that we met when we first joined Mount Pleasant Sportmans Club back in 1988. He had a kind word for everyone in the club and enjoyed his role as club "cut up". He was a great trap shooter and was always willing to share his knowledge and skill with new and experienced shooters. He was very proud of his service in the US Navy in which he enlisted at the young age of 17. We will miss him.

Condolence: To Eddie's family and his grandson, who I knew. Please accept my heartfelt condolence on the passing of one of the best guys ever! Eddie was such a great gentleman. He was kind, funny as can be, and had a great sense of integrity. I will miss him terribly and remember him always...The guy who taught his grandson with such love and affection, the guy I always shot next to because he was always so much fun, the card games at the club, the person who could lift your spirits and... "the hat". He wore that baseball hat for years. I hope wherever he is, he knows how much he was loved and admired. I will miss you Eddie Gertz. Rest in Peace.
