Obituary for Peter Mariuzza
Peter Mariuzza, 84, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. He resided
in Briarcliff Manor, New York. Born December 12, 1932, in Friuli, Italy, he immigrated to America as a child. He had a long and successful career as an illustrator in New York City, and served in the armed forces. A gifted artist, he designed renowned movie posters, magazine covers, and print ads. In retirement, he taught art classes in the local community. He was an avid gardener, fishing enthusiast, and loved his pets. He is survived by his wife Linda; his children Paulette, Lisa and Peter; and his grandchildren Kelly Anne, Colette, Dylan, Dana and Kayla. The Family will receive friends at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home in Pleasantville on Saturday, March 4, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Innocents Church in Pleasantville at 1:00 PM. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Mausoleum.
