The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of August Andronica can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Gus was a prince of a man. He was always friendly, always patient, always the first to help. At PepsiCo he built the "Forms" department into a full scale professional graphics department, working tirelessly to meet growing needs. He continued this work once he retired, creating a retiree site and newsletter. Gus will be fondly remembered by all who knew him...and I'm sure we'll continue to talk about him for many years to come.

Condolence: Gus was a wonderful presence at PepsiCo, always smiling and always lighting up the room. He was so kind to me as a newbie at PepsiCo. I appreciated his warmth and friendly greetings. His humanity and respect for others were unwavering and made him a great role model for everyone. He will be greatly missed, but definitely not forgotten. Gus's legacy of decency, compassion, and friendship will live on.

Condolence: When I joined PepsiCo in 1973, I worked on the same floor as Gus. Even though I was in a completely different department Gus was still a "presence". He was always smiling and positive with a can-do attitude. He was friends with everyone and those friendships really "stuck" regardless of where your career took you. Many people owe him a great debt for all the work he did with the Alumni network but in many ways it was just another form of the wonderful way he had of keeping his friendships alive. Gus will surely be missed.

Condolence: To Gus's family - my sincere condolences on Gus's passing. He was a wonderful co-worker at PepsiCo and one of the first "Graphics" department personnel who showed me the ropes during my first weeks of employment back in the 1980s. I had the pleasure of working with him for many years. A truly wonderful person who I will always remember! May he live on in your hearts forever. Kathleen Beveridge

Condolence: I worked with Gus at Pepsico from about 1967-1974. He was one of the people that made my career there my favorite. When he began the Pepsi Alumni we kept in touch and he kept me in touch with my other friends. I believe he is almost the last of those I worked with in the Systems Department thru 1974. I will miss him.
