Condolence: Gus was a prince of a man. He was always friendly, always patient, always the first to help. At PepsiCo he built the "Forms" department into a full scale professional graphics department, working tirelessly to meet growing needs. He continued this work once he retired, creating a retiree site and newsletter. Gus will be fondly remembered by all who knew him...and I'm sure we'll continue to talk about him for many years to come.

Condolence: Gus was a wonderful presence at PepsiCo, always smiling and always lighting up the room. He was so kind to me as a newbie at PepsiCo. I appreciated his warmth and friendly greetings. His humanity and respect for others were unwavering and made him a great role model for everyone. He will be greatly missed, but definitely not forgotten. Gus's legacy of decency, compassion, and friendship will live on.

Condolence: When I joined PepsiCo in 1973, I worked on the same floor as Gus. Even though I was in a completely different department Gus was still a "presence". He was always smiling and positive with a can-do attitude. He was friends with everyone and those friendships really "stuck" regardless of where your career took you. Many people owe him a great debt for all the work he did with the Alumni network but in many ways it was just another form of the wonderful way he had of keeping his friendships alive. Gus will surely be missed.

Condolence: To Gus's family - my sincere condolences on Gus's passing. He was a wonderful co-worker at PepsiCo and one of the first "Graphics" department personnel who showed me the ropes during my first weeks of employment back in the 1980s. I had the pleasure of working with him for many years. A truly wonderful person who I will always remember! May he live on in your hearts forever. Kathleen Beveridge

Condolence: I worked with Gus at Pepsico from about 1967-1974. He was one of the people that made my career there my favorite. When he began the Pepsi Alumni we kept in touch and he kept me in touch with my other friends. I believe he is almost the last of those I worked with in the Systems Department thru 1974. I will miss him.

Condolence: I'm so sorry I could not say good bye to you Uncle Auggie. I do have such fun memories that I will cherish and hold dear always. Sitting with you on the piano bench while you played Christmas Carols and we sang at the top of our lungs is one of my favorites! Your exuberance for music and laughter rubbed off on all of us. Your light and spirit is embedded in all who loved you. I am so blessed that the universe picked all of us to be your family. May you rest in peace.

Condolence: To my Uncle Augie I wish swift passage to our Lord's loving arms. Your fun loving, child like awe of the world around you will be sorely missed. I will remember you at the piano, playing a medley of Christmas Songs, your favorite time of year. I will remember when you had us over to see The Wizard of Oz in color!! and how you lifted us up high when we were little so high we could touch the ceiling and we could almost fly. Thank you Uncle Augie for brightening our days. We will miss you so much. Your niece, Joanne.
