Obituary for Arthur D "Artie" Greason Jr.

Arthur D. Greason, Jr., 73, of Yorktown Heights, NY died Monday, April 10, 2017 at Rosary Hill following a brief illness. Arthur was born June 9, 1943 to Arthur and Doris Greason, nee Rathschmidt.
Arthur served in the United States Marine Corp. In 1971 he began a career as a restaurateur culminating in 27 years as owner and chef at Gordo’s Restaurant, Hawthorne, NY and The Red Schoolhouse Restaurant in Cortlandt Manor, NY.
He leaves his son, Arthur D. Greason III (Jody) and two grandchildren, Hayley and Tyler. Also survived by his Mother, Doris Greason, sister Georgeanne Melius and brothers Edgar Greason (Melissa) and Jeffrey Greason.
Arthur was preceded in death by his loving wife Mary Louise Greason, his Father, Arthur D. Greason, and his brother William Greason.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Beecher Funeral Home, Pleasantville, NY, 10 a.m. – 12 noon. Service will be held at 11:00 a.m.
