Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jeanne Powers can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Oldest child of Katherine and Anthony Karas was born in Manhattan, NY. Graduate of Cathedral High School. Married her childhood sweetheart Robert Powers, who predeceased her... 1993. She raised three children Riverdale NY and later Hawthorne NY...Jayne Begley, Pleasantville.. Robert Powers Jr, Hawthorne.. Joanne Powers-Parte, Yorktown. 8 Grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Jeanne retired from Westchester County Social Services Dept. She was one of the founders with her husband of the UNITED HOMEOWNERS OF Mt. PLEASANT. An active member of the Conservative Party in the town and at the County level.... Many thanks to her extraordinary caretaker “Golda” and daughter, Joanne. The family will be receiving visitors at Beecher-Flooks funeral home, Pleasantville..Thursday 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral mass will be held at 10am Friday at Holy Rosary Church.
