Kenneth C. Kretzschmar
PLEASANTVILLE – Kenneth C. Kretzschmar, of Pleasantville, N.Y. died peacefully at his home on March 1, 2018. He was born on April 10, 1931 to the late George and Jean (MacArthur) in Mount Vernon. Kenneth was predeceased by his wife Joan in 2001. He is survived by his loving children, Lynn (Randy) Power of Brewster, N.Y., Kenny (Marie) Kretzschmar of Mahopac, N.Y. and Kerri (Jim) Brentano of Thornwood, N.Y. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Christine (A.B.), Kelly, Brian, James, Kevin, Daniel, Elizabeth and Kaitlyn, and also a great grandchild, Jace David Shirley. Kenneth was an electrician with Local 3, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 43 years. He was a very active member in Local 3. He also volunteered his time in Northern Westchester Hospital for over 20 years. He will be missed greatly by many. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Guidingeyes.org.
The Family will receive friends Sunday March 4th at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home from 12PM – 2PM and 4PM – 6PM with a prayer service at 5:30PM. A Service celebrating the life of Kenneth C. Kretzschmar will take place at Emanuel Lutheran Church on Monday March 5th at 10AM. A cremation will take place at Ferncliff Crematory immediately following the service.
