White Plains, NY -- Carol Justic passed away peacefully on March 8, 2018, at the age of 71, at home surrounded by her family. Born in the Bronx on October 13, 1946, she was one of 5 children of Daniel and Martha Dones. She leaves behind her brothers, Daniel, Robert and Michael, and her sister, Linda. She grew up in the Bronx and relocated to Westchester County after being married for several years. She was predeceased by Joseph, her husband, of over 42 years. Carol was the proud mother of her two children, Pamela Danetra of Carmel, NY, and Anthony Justic of White Plains. She was loved by her grandchildren, Tyler and Joseph Justic, and Alexis Dempsey, along with her daughter-in-law, Hope Justic, and son-in-law, Blaise Danetra, and nephew, Richard Enright. Carol was retired after a long career as a Finance Customer Service Manager with The Journal News in White Plains. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows, a member of the church choir, and a volunteer at a children’s center in Rye Brook, where she had many treasured friends.She took great pleasure and pride in her grandchildren's athletic and artistic endeavors and successes in their school accomplishments. Visitation will be Sunday, March 11 at Beecher-Flooks Funeral Home in Pleasantville, NY; viewing hours 3 – 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows in White Plains on Monday at 10am with burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
