Condolence: Msgr. Gilleece was our teacher in Cardinal Spellman in 1976, married us in 1984 and resided over my sisters funeral in 2012. He was there for us in times of happiness and sadness. He will be sorely missed. We are sorry we were unaware of his passing. Our condolences to his family.

Condolence: Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your loved one. May God almighty father of tender mercies continue to comfort you all. We all eagerly await the fulfillment of God's promise to completely remove all sickness, death, mourning, outcry and pain (Revelation 21:4) . The bible also provides assurance of a resurrection hope for our dead loved ones at John 5: 28,29). May God continue to strengthen you all.

Condolence: We are deeply saddened by the passing of our dear friend and extend our sympathy to his family. We were friends for over 45 years and he has had a lasting impact on our lives.
Father married the two of us , baptized our children, married a daughter and her husband and buried our parents. More than that, he offered his wisdom when needed. We are honored to have been a part of his life and are grateful for the many good times we shared. May he rest in peace and continue to watch over us.

Condolence: My deepest sympathy to the family of our long-time friend, who we lovingly referred to as "Padre". Many members of the Cardinal Spellman High School class of 1976, myself included, owe much to him not only for his wisdom and benevolence, but also for gracing us with his company on a regular basis despite our many imperfections. The same is true for many CSHS classes before and after mine, and the many people he touched during his pastoral and personal life. Like many of my classmates, he married me, baptized my children, and buried my father. We will miss him dearly until we meet him again.

Condolence: I recall (then) Father Gilleece at Spellman very fondly. He was always a pleasure to be with and understood his students. He made us laugh while providing guidance and wisdom and enjoyed his students! Rest in Peace!

Condolence: My deepest sympathy and condolences to the Gilleece family on the passing of Fr. Tom. He was such a wonderful person, who will be deeply missed. He was there for my family through good times and sad times. He buried my father, married my wife and I, and baptized our son. My family loved his homilies during his time at St. Paul's in Congers. We will miss his Irish wit, friendship, and graciousness. Thanks for the great memories Fr. Tom, and may you rest in peace.

Condolence: Sincerest sympathies and condolences to the Gilleece family on the passing of Fr. Tom. FR. Tom was part of many families, including mine, as minister, counsellor and friend. He married my wife and I, baptized our children and buried my parents. I often thought he was my mother's oldest son. He was witty, caring and funny when you needed to smile. My life is fuller because he was part of it. He will be missed. Good night sweet prince. And thanks to Shakespeare for the quote.

Condolence: Mgr. Gilleece was a wonderful pastor of St. Paul’s Parish in Congers, NY thru the 1990’s. A rare, thoughtful priest who gave intelligent poignant homilies every Sunday that we’re meaningful to Catholics in our time. He will be missed by those who knew him.
