Lillian Ann Forte (Jones) lost her brave battle with melanoma on July 28, 2018.

She was born in Yonkers, NY on July 29, 1952 to her parents Stephen and Lillias Jones. She graduated from Yonkers High School of Commerce. On September 8, 1974, she married Michael Forte and they moved to Thornwood, NY where they raised their three children. For 25 years she enjoyed working as a nursery school aide in Hawthorne, NY.

Lillian was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was adored by all who met her. Her kindness and gentle spirit will live on through her devoted husband, Michael Forte, her three children, Kerry Ann Irwin, Christy Faughnan, and Stephen Forte and her six grandchildren, Keira, Timmy, Connor, Liam, Mia and Makayla.

Visiting hours are Monday 5-9 pm at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, In., Pleasantville, NY. The Funeral Mass is Tuesday at 10:30 am at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Pleasantville, NY. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery, Pleasantville, NY.
