Obituary for Brian A. McIntyre

Brian A. McIntyre of Pleasantville, NY and Block Island, RI passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 6, 2018. Brian was born on February 7, 1961 in New York, NY. He is predeceased by his loving parents, Louis F. McIntyre, Jr., and Althea Martin McIntyre. He is survived by his brothers, Dr. Louis F. McIntyre III (Lizanne O’Toole), Charles M. McIntyre, Timothy W. McIntyre and sister Maureen A. McAdams (Timothy McAdams). Brian loved his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Brian attended Pleasantville High School and studied Graphic Design at Connecticut Institute of Art, and was employed as a graphic artist and marketing and advertising account executive.
A lifelong musician, Brian was a lifelong rock and roll drummer, actively playing in bands with his brothers. He was never happier than when on stage with Chaz, John Henry Tripler, Rad Ed Push, Kurt Schwartz, Joey and T-Mac and all the musicians in his life that were like family.
Brian will be remembered as an affectionate, kind person with a sweet smile, ready laugh and an enthusiasm for living that reflected his heart of gold. Passionate about music, musicians and his friends and family, Brian will be rocking with the angels and forever ready for the next gig.
In lieu of flowers and in Brian’s memory please send donations to Conserfest www.conserfest.org, an environmentally-driven, non-profit festival based on Block Island, RI with a focus on cultivating awareness and stewardship through music and education.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday October 12, at NOON, at Holy Innocents R.C. Church in Pleasantville.
