SERVICES

It is our sincere desire to be of real assistance to those who call or come into our funeral home. Whether it involves questions and information, or the need to make funeral arrangements, our experienced professional staff can assist each family in making informed, intelligent decisions. Respecting different creeds, cultures, traditions, and personal preferences, we are guided by each family’s personal choices. We make every effort to render sensitive, caring and professional service. Our options range from various full service traditional funerals to the simplest of cremation and burial services. All of these services include a nearly unlimited variety of offerings to meet the needs of all families.
Whether you choose ground burial, entombment or cremation, one of the main purposes of a funeral or other ceremony, is that it recognizes someone’s life and makes real the fact that the life has ended. We must always remember that funerals are for the living; for those left behind to grieve for the loss of that life. This is how we can help tailor individual services and guide you through this process:
  •  We will furnish you with our General Price List of all goods and services which is mandated by state law.
  • We will listen and offer options and suggestions about the service you are considering.
  • We will provide you with an estimate of your various outside expenses such as cemetery charges, crematory charges, newspaper notices, church and clergy charges, certified copies of the death certificate, limousines, pallbearers, out of state expenses, air fare and foreign consulate requirements.
  • Discuss the rules and regulations of different cemeteries, crematories, Social Security, Benefits, Veteran’s Benefits and Insurance Benefits and how to obtain them.
Establish a time for visitation, religious services and funeral services.
Provide you with a written, itemized list of all your expenses and discuss payment options

Pre-Planning Options

Whether you choose Cremation or Burial, one of the main purposes of a funeral or other ceremony, is that it recognizes someone's life and makes real the fact that the life has ended. The type of Funeral Service selected should try to be personal and still fulfilling the wishes of the deceased. It is through the funeral process that many emotional needs are met and the grieving process begins. We must always remember that funerals are for the living; for those left behind to grieve for the loss of their loved one.

Aftercare

Coping with Grief
The staff at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, Inc. has always been sensitive to the area of the healing process. It has always been thought that you have to hurt to heal. We encourage our families to explore different areas of effective grief resolution. The first year after a death is normally the hardest time for families to overcome grief because it will be the first time you will share special occasions without this person. During the first year families should take things one day at a time and try to avoid making "big decisions" during this time.

If we can be of any assistance in helping to inform you of grief support meetings, provide you with literature to help you through the grieving process, or to help you get in tough with a grief counselor, please feel free to call us at anytime.

Funeral With A Burial

Funeral Services afford the family and friends of a deceased loved one the opportunity to come together not only to support each other on their loss, but also to celebrate the life of a loved one.

We at the Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, Inc., feel that your needs are individual and unique to your own situation. We are committed to serve you in whatever capacity you may need. Many families have different ways of memorializing a loved one, and one of the ways is through a traditional funeral service. A traditional funeral service with burial would encompass visitation, a funeral service at the funeral home, church or temple, followed by a burial or entombment at a cemetery.

We offer a variety of options to our families and are able to advise and help them to plan ahead of time or at time of need. We work closely with all cemeteries and can provide detailed information about the cemetery and your options.
