Condolence: I am the youngest of Sune's norwegian cousins, and I had the pleasure of learning to know Sune and Grace as I visited them together with my family in 1981.
I am so sorry that it did not come to my knowledge until May 4th that Sune has passed away, more than 5 months ago. Nobody told us.

Kjære Sune, takk for vårt vennskap som vi etablerte, og takk for den kontakten du ga oss med vår familie i USA.
Jeg kondolerer hans barn og barnebarn. Jeg vet at han satte spor hos mange. Han følger oss nok fra stjernehimmelen sin.

Condolence: While at Pace University, he was my mentor, my teacher and my friend. I remember long cold nights at the eyepiece of a telescope with him. I can only hope that I inspire my students (he got me the teaching job) the way he inspired me ! I hope he is enjoying the view of the stars from his new perspective (no doubt he's teaching someone something about the sky ;-)
