Condolence: I had the privilege of working with Jim on a number of cases over the years. He was a great lawyer, patient teacher, and generous man. He enjoyed discussing law and strategy but loved talking about his family even more. He will be missed in the industry. My condolences to Marilyn, Ellen and his entire family.

Condolence: I had the pleasure of serving as an arbitrator on three arbitrations when Jim represented one of the parties. He was very professional as well as very effective and a great sense of humor. I and all of us will miss him. My condolences.

Condolence: Jim made me laugh like no one else. I will miss him very much. I was lucky to have lunch with him many times in practice and in his retirement and am very glad I did so.

Condolence: I only knew Jim as opposing counsel, in quite a few cases. We all remember that he could be grumpy. But when push came to shove, it would always turn out that Jim was honest and gracious. A good lawyer and a good person.

Condolence: We are very saddened to learn of Jim's passing. Jim was a wonderful colleague and friend who blazed his own path and was refreshingly more about authenticity then "blending in."
