Heidi Lais Bunker Eschweiler, daughter of Harry Damon Bunker, Jr. and the late Doris Elizabeth Rundt Bunker, died in her sleep on January 12, 2018. She will be remembered as a good friend and a great wife, and for her love of animals, especially her cat Gray C., and her dogs, Lady, Heather, Ross, Honey and Piper. Her love of animals also included horses. She rode for the Equestrian Team at Westchester Community College, and won numerous ribbons in competitions well into her 50’s. She is survived by her husband, Steven Eschweiler, her sister Mitzi (Allen) Chan, their grown children Clara (Chan) Fonda and Toby Chan, and her beloved Shetland Sheepdog, Piper.
