ST. GERMAIN GAUJEAN--Dr. Emmelyne, died July 16, 2018. She was predeceased in death by her husband of 46 years, Dr. Max Pierre Gaujean and is survived by her children, Max G. Gaujean (Dr. Elaine Fleck), Nadine Gaujean, Natasha Gaujean-La Mar (Han La Mar), and Martine-Pascale Gaujean May (Hubert May), her sisters Solange Dorsainvil and Caridad St. Germain, and brother Wilner St. Germain, seven grandchildren, extended family and friends. Dr. St. Germain was born April 22, 1936 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, the eldest daughter of Celain St. Germain and Mizile Anglade. In 1968, she immigrated to the United States and settled in Cleveland, Ohio where she practiced pediatric medicine for almost 50 years. Dr. St. Germain was fiercely loyal to family and friends, and lived her life with passion and a joie de vivre. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00-8:00 pm at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, 418 Bedford Road, Pleasantville, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 8 Carman Road, Scarsdale, New York. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
