Condolence From: A Friend
Condolence: To the family and friends of the deceased, Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Many have found true comfort from the pages of God's word the Bible (2 Corinthians 1:3-5}. The Bible tells us why we die (Genesis 2:16, 17; Romans 5:12) the condition of the dead (Ecclesiastes 9:5) and that we can be reunited with our loved ones (Acts 24:15). The Bible also tells us where this happy event will take place (Psalm 37:29; 115:16). The promise from Jehovah, the God of the Bible found at Revelation 21:3, 4 gives us the assurance that death will be no more. At John 17:3 Jesus tells us the benefit of reading and studying the Bible. He also said at John 8:32 “and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free". Condolence From: David George
Condolence: My condolences to the Wright families. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of dear Gregory. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: "Your dead ones will live...They will rise up". And the Bible also says "The righteous themselves will possess the earth and they will forever reside upon it". Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ's ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering.
