Condolences

Condolence From: Ian
Condolence: Was thinking about Nick the other day. Nick taught me some great things about catching. Back in the late 70s early 80s he was a part of a baseball camp@queens college. What a pleasure he was. We used to see him at Shea stadium as the bullpen catcher and would always acknowledge us. One memory I have, is when we saw him by the dugout, he said hello, then someone asked him for his autograph. His reply was “ you don’t want my autograph, I’m nobody”......... Nick was always a pleasure to be around, he was a teacher of the game.

Condolence From: A Friend
Condolence: To the family and friends of the deceased, Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Many have found true comfort from the pages of God's word the Bible (2 Corinthians 1:3-5}. The Bible tells us why we die (Genesis 2:16, 17; Romans 5:12) the condition of the dead (Ecclesiastes 9:5) and that we can be reunited with our loved ones (Acts 24:15). The Bible also tells us where this happy event will take place (Psalm 37:29; 115:16). The promise from Jehovah, the God of the Bible found at Revelation 21:3, 4 gives us the assurance that death will be no more. At John 17:3 Jesus tells us the benefit of reading and studying the Bible. He also said at John 8:32 “and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free".
