John Michael Fitzmaurice, 63, passed away on October 26, 2018 after a long period of suffering. He was at Bethel Nursing Home, Croton-on- the-Hudson, NY. for five months and a week in Presbyterian Hospital where he died peacefully.
John was born on January 3,1955 to the late John Fitzmaurice and Isabel Margaret (nee Grey) in Brooklyn, NY., where he grew up and was educated. John's father died when he was only five years old and his mother married Albert Cuneo in1968 and had a son, Peter who lives in Katonah, NY. with his wife.
John is survived by his brother Peter, and niece Danielle Cuneo, two uncles Joseph, and Edward Grey and three aunts, Mary Meehan, Joan Juczak and Julia Grey, Dominican Sister of Peace, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on November 30, 2018 from 3-5 pm at Beecher Flook's Funeral Home, 418 Bedford Rd., Pleasantville, NY. Followed by a reception in a nearby restaurant.
