Obituary for Nancy Mangialardi
Nancy Mangialardi of Briarcliff Manor passed away on February 19, 2019. She was born in New York City on January 15, 1927 to Vincent and Anna (Corrano) Christiano. On October 25, 1947 Nancy married the love of her life, Dominic, and they enjoyed 68 wonderful years together.
Nancy was a devoted mother and wife whose greatest pleasure was spending time with her family. She was especially proud of her four precious grandchildren. Before her retirement Nancy was employed as an administrative assistant at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She was kind, generous and always willing to help others. Nancy was known for her beautiful smile and sense of style.
Nancy is survived by her devoted daughters, Nancy and Emily Anne (John Ferro), her dear daughter-in-law, Arlene Mangialardi and her beloved grandchildren, Laura Ferro (Justin Ortiz), John Dominic Ferro, Katie Mangialardi, and Linlee Mangialardi. Also, she is survived by her sister-in-law, Antoinette Christiano and her nieces and nephews, Anne and Stu Sanderson, James and Janet Christiano, Lisa and Ed McCann, Charlene and J.D. Diaz and Lisa and Paul Takemoto. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dominic, her cherished son John and her loving brothers, John and Pat Christiano. The family will receive friends on Friday March 8th from 4 – 8 PM at the Beecher Flooks Funeral Home in Pleasantville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Theresa’s R.C. Church in Briarcliff Manor on Saturday March 9th at 9:45 AM. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
