Rosaria “ Sadie” Scauzillo of Thornwood, NY passed away on her 89th birthday, February 22, 2019. She was born in Pleasantville, NY to Francesco and Maria (Buzzurro) Cannizzaro. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Peter A. Scauzillo and her son Steven Scauzillo. She is survived by her loving children Peter A. Scauzillo, Jr. (Susan) and Patricia Veteri (John); her grandchildren John Veteri, Jr. (Julie) and Lauren Veteri and her great grandchildren Cristiana, Lucas and Nicholas Veteri. The family will receive friends on Monday February 25 from 3 – 8 PM at the Beecher Flooks Funeral Home in Pleasantville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Innocents R.C. Church in Pleasantville on Tuesday at 10 AM. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
