Our precious son, brother, uncle, passed away peacefully on March 7th, with his sisters by his side; after months of a fierce fight against illness.
He is survived by his parents, Eucharistic and Annunziatia Galea of Pleasantville; his sisters, Frances M. Myron (John R. Myron who predeceased him) of Patterson, NY, Nancy A. Barry ( Dave J. Barry ) of Briarcliff Manor, NY , his nephews, John R. and Christopher J. Myron, and David C. Barry.
Born on the tiny island of Gozo, Malta Europe, Michael shared the spirit of which he was born; with might and compassion. 61 years ago, he made the journey with his mother to join his father to live the American dream; of hard work, and boundless opportunities.
His love of cars gave way to his career as an auto mechanic. In recent years, he worked for the MTA Bridges and Tunnel as a maintainer in the Sign Shop.
Throughout his life, Michael has made an endless circle of friends who experienced his generosity, selflessness and compassion. He was a loving gentleman who always thought of others.
We will be celebrating our beloved son, brother, uncle the way he lived his life, WITH LOVE, KIDNESS, SMILES and HAPPY THOUGHTS!
A mass at Holy Innocents Church on March 23rd at 11:00 will be held to bless a soul more precious than words can ever say…
