Obituary for Adolph "Duffy" Rinaldi

Adolph “Duffy” Rinaldi, 95, of Pleasantville, NY passed away peacefully on March 6th, 2019. He was known for his sassy personality and spice for life. Duffy made an everlasting impression on those he came in contact with and will be sorely missed. He is survived by his three children, Janice & Tom Wilson, Michael & Debbie Rinaldi, and Amy Rinaldi. He was a loving grandfather to Michael, Jennifer, Thomas, Deanna, Michelle & Michael. He is also survived by his great grandchildren Tina, Canada, & Brieana, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of 57 years, Elaine Rinaldi (2007). After servicing 2 years in the Army, stationed in Guam during World War II, he ultimately took a job at Pedigree Ski Shop where he spent 30 years. He cherished his time at the shop and fostered many lifelong friendships through his work. Duffy loves his family, enjoyed spending time gardening, and playing craps at his favorite casinos in Atlantic City. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Tuesday, March 12th, 2019 from 4PM-7PM at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home in Pleasantville, NY with a Prayer Service at 6:30 PM . In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Duffy’s name to Calvary Hospital, Bronx NY or St Jude Children’s Hospital.
