Prayers and sympathy go out to Rosemarie's family and loved ones. I got to know her through the Steuben Parade and the German American community. She was an outgoing. one of a kind personality, and one who will be remembered by many.

Rosemarie will be greatly missed. She was a wonderful woman and supporter of the German-American community in the NY metro area and of the Schlierachtaler Stamm dance group. We have fond memories of her attending and vivaciously enjoying many events including our annual Strauss Ball with her beloved Joe. Our thoughts and prayers are with Joe and her family.

The German-American community has lost an icon with the passing of Rosemarie. She was ever supportive if not even the driving force of community events in Westchester-Rockland and was a devoted Lutheran. I cherish many memories of festivals, picnics, parades and our joint German language Christmas celebrations. May she rest in peace.
