Obituary for Emily M. Lethbridge
Emily M Lethbridge (nee Janiesch) passed away surrounded by her family on May 2nd at the age of 94. Originally from Brooklyn, NY and a longtime resident of Valhalla, NY, Emily spent her later years in an assisted living facility in Lake Mary, FL where she enjoyed a life filled with family and friends.
Emily was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 50 years Elliot; as well as her son Brian and her daughter Susan. She is survived by a wonderfully large family including her children; Barbara and Antonio Garcia; Laurie and Fred Christmas; and Alan and Susan Lethbridge; her brother Hank(Linda) and sister Marilyn (John); 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and a multitude of loving nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held at Beecher Funeral Home in Pleasantville, NY on May 7th from 2-4 pm and from 7-9pm.
Funeral services will be held on at 10am on May 8th, at the United Methodist Church of Valhalla, NY, where Emily was a lifelong member, with internment at the Lethbridge family plot at Kenisco Cemetery. A short celebration of her life will be held at the church following the internment.
