Michael was born May 16, 1954 in the Bronx, New York to Nettie and Salvatore Fasano. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Lisa D’Elia-Fasano, his daughter, Laura Fasano, and his two brothers, Paul Fasano (and wife Mary Kay), and Stephen Fasano (and wife Rae), along with several nieces and nephews. Michael was preceded in death by his father and mother in 2004 and 2010, respectively.

Michael enjoyed fishing, cooking and baking (and eating), photography, woodworking, painting and drawing and history. Michael also enjoyed family gatherings and time with his close friends. Michael cherished quality time with his daughter and wife, spending summers on Cape Cod and simple outings such as breakfast at iHop. Michael frequently found comfort in snuggling with the beloved family dog who was by his side every step of his battle.

Michael will always be remembered as funny, loving and a kind soul. He has touched many lives and will be dearly missed. We know he will be in our hearts forever.
