Meet the experts behind Funeral Home

William F. Flooks

Licensed Funeral Director , Proprietor

The Beecher Flooks Funeral Home Inc., in Pleasantville, N.Y., is personally owned and supervised by William F. Flooks, Jr. Bill is a second generation Funeral Director who has been licensed by the State of New York for 45 years. He grew up in the funeral industry with his father who was a N.Y.S. licensed Funeral Director for 38 years, until his passing in 1988, and Bill was able to learn many valuable aspects of life and funeral service from him

Bill purchased Beecher Funeral Home Inc., in February 2004 and became only the third owner of this business started by Sam Beecher in 1928. A 1973 graduate of St. Nicholas of Tolentine HIgh School, in the Bronx, he then received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from LaSalle College in 1977, and a Degree in Mortuary Science from the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in New York City. In 1994 Bill was appointed Adjunct Professor of Embalming at A.A.M.I, and in 2001 he became the Director of Clinical Embalming.

 
Bill continues to remain personally active in the Pleasantville community as a member of the Pleasantville Lions Club, is also currently the President of the Pleasantville Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Development Advisory Board as well as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Hospice of Westchester.
 
 
Bill currently resides in White Plains with his wife Debbie.

Billy Flooks

Funeral Director 

Billy Flooks proudly joins his father, at the Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, as a New York State Licensed Funeral Director. Billy becomes the third generation of Funeral Directors in the Flooks’ Family. He was a 2003 graduate of Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains where he played football, hockey and lacrosse. Upon graduation he attended Marist College in Poughkeepsie where he played football for the Red Foxes and graduated with a degree in Business Management in 2007. He then attended the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service and received a degree in Mortuary Science.
Billy was raised in White Plains and now lives in Pleasantville with his wife and three sons. He is a member of Holy Innocents Church.

Jeffrey S. Goldhorn

Licensed Manager

Jeffrey S. Goldhorn, Licensed Manager, has been a Licensed Funeral Director for Over 39 years .

He started working in Funeral Service when he was in high school.After graduation, he attended Simmons School of Mortuary Science in Syracuse, New York, graduating in March of 1983. He received his Funeral Directors License in April of 1984.

Jeff worked as a Funeral Director in Yorktown Heights for 13 years before coming to Beecher Funeral Home in Pleasantville in 1995.

He is the former President and Board Member of the Amawalk Hill Cemetery Association in Yorktown Heights.

Jeff was raised in Yorktown Heights and resides there as well. He is a member of Holy Innocents Church.
