Jayne T. O'Keefe, 83, of Thornwood, NY and formerly of Bronx, NY died on January 23, 2014 in her home. Jayne was born on May 2, 1930 to Salvatore and Vincenzina (nee Divona) Alico in NYC. Beloved wife of the late John T. O'Keefe for 56 years. A loving mother, grandmother and talented artist. She is survived by her four loving children, Gayle Farrelly and her husband, John of New City, NY, John T. O'Keefe Jr of Thornwood, NY, Christine Kane and her husband, Richard of Thornwood, NY, Cathie Skopetos and her husband, John of Pleasantville, NY; one sister, Lee Pollara of Plainfield, NJ. Also survived by seven cherished grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband and one sister. The family will receive friends at the Beecher Flooks Funeral Home in Pleasantville on Sunday from 2 - 6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 AM at Holy Innocents R.C. Church in Pleasantville. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation would be appreciated.
