Dianne C. Weeks, age 73, died peacefully in Winter Park, FL on October 5th, 2014 after a long illness. Dianne resided in Poinciana, FL. Dianne was born on April 10, 1941 to Harold and Helen Uhlin of Scarsdale, NY. She was married to William S. Weeks on July 21, 1963, who predeceased her. Dianne has lived in Mamaroneck, NY; Peekskill, NY; and then moved with William to Poinciana, FL in 2000 where she, literally, refused to leave. Dianne loved to sing and was part of the Center Singers Community Chorus for several years. Dianne is survived by her mother, Helen Uhlin (now 101), as well as her daughter Kathleen Weeks-Breksa, and Kathleen’s spouse, Kevin Breksa, both from Mamaroneck, NY; her daughter Patricia Antonetti, Patricia’s spouse, Daniel Antonetti, and grandson, Thomas Antonetti all residing in Port Jervis, NY. Dianne was much loved by her siblings Jane Sweeny, Harry Uhlin, Susan Geier, and Jim Uhlin and those she considered her Florida family, namely the Aikeys. She will be missed.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th from 10-12, at the Beecher Flooks Funeral Home located at 418 Bedford Road, Pleasantville, NY 10570 with the service to follow at noon at the same location. Interment will be at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY.
