It was a Sunday of Memorial Day weekend.I was 2 weeks overdue with my 2nd child. My husband went out for a run. Then , I suddenly had 2 minute conttractions. . I called Nillie and Harry in desperation.. My doctor Said have your neighbor (Millie) drive you to the hospital (NYHospital in NYC)). .....Millie said she does not drive over 30 mph and so she sent . Greg and Harry to track down my runner husband, Bill , wherever he was running.....which they did in short order.
They arrived back home with Bill in tow. Millie and Harry Took Pamela for the night and we delivered Alex when we got to the hospital ...not a moment too soon.....we have been great neighbors and friends for the 38 years we have in our Briarcliff.. we love you and will miss. Harry. Beyond. Love, Mary and Biill
